Effectiveness of the law of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) "On responsible parenting"

Purpose: Scientific and practical study of law enforcement potential, i.e. role in the formation of legal and social consequences in the sphere of family and legal relations of the Law of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) «On responsible parenting» adopted by the deputies of the State Assembly Il Tumen from 14.03.2016 1604-З№ 737-V. Methodology: Sociological and formal legal methods were used. Results: The article was carried out within the framework of a grant study with the financial support of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR) on the topic «Legal and social problems of the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) on Responsible Parenthood» (Registration number of ESSIS NIOKTR - AAAA-A17-117042010061-7; 20.04.2017). The article deals with the effective application of the law under study, its expected and realistic capabilities in the formation of responsible parenting. The novelty of the law, its ability to organize an updated legal and social approach for improving the state policy in matters of family and child support are analyzed. Novelty/originality/value: The article has a high scientific value, since it is the first attempt to consider the formation of the institution of responsible parenthood in law by the example of regional legislation.
