The effectiveness of the countermeasures to technosphere risks

The technosphere is a quickly developing sector of the human environment. The risks, which are conjugated with the techno genesis, are the hot topic nowadays. This paper contains the results of the Russian expertise of measures for prevention and countering technosphere risks. Here, the groups of the effective and ineffective events are proposed. According to the analysis, the similarities and the differences of the significance of security measures for all areas of Russian citizens’ habitation are defined. The overall efficiency for different groups of countermeasures in the ecosphere, socio-cultural sphere, the sphere of information and the technosphere are presented. The article is of interest to scholars and practitioners of regional management, as well as to manufacturers and security system services.
