The study of biochemical composition of blood and egg production of laying hens in the background of biologically active additives was conducted with blood sampling from the underwing vein to determine the total concentration of protein, calcium and phosphorus, taking into account body weight and egg characteristics. As a result, it was found that the introduction of BAA to the hens body contributes to the total protein content in serum and calcium and phosphorus concentrations, depending on the duration of exposure, increased bodyweight, egg weight and density, and thickening of the shell and increasing the content of nutrients in the egg.
