The extraction of lithium from mineralrich water beds in oil deposits

Extraction of lithium from hydromineral rawmaterials is a necessary and an importanttaskfor Russia because of lack of ore reserves. To develop the technology of lithium extraction from the formation water of Bagansky field the method of chemisorption on latest aluminium hydroxide sediment has been tested. Aluminium hydroxide in its turn is formed from three-calcium hydro aluminate and aluminium chloride. On the basis of carried out researches the technological scheme of lithium extraction from formation water of northern fields has been developedto get lithium carbonate.
