The article devoted to the introduction and preliminary discussion on the materials from the unique archaeological monument of the Early Medieval epoch. This is, namely. Yu Hong''s tomb excavated by Chinese specialists near Taiyuan City (Shanxi Province, China). In the fate of him one can see personification of all complicity in ethnical and cultural interactions which usually are more intensive during transitional period. Polyethnicity of these contacts stimulate successful development of cross-cultural communication. In this particular case we can observe the overlapping of the powerful Iranian stratum upon the Chinese civilization background, with the possible influences from the side of other traditions (Mongolian, Tibetan, Tungus and others). F. e., stylistic and also some images of Sassanid art had an effect on frescos and sculptures of Buddhist cave monasteries at Northern China which flourished there at the period of Nanbeichao.
