The article deals with studying mythology in secondary and higher education as an important factor liberalization and humanization of education. Mythology is a special form of social consciousness, which acts as a kind of “spiritual matrix”, significantly affecting cognitive human activity. Its study activates and produces a plurality of abilities of schoolchildren and students.
