In article use of frequency operated asynchronous electric drives from the point of view of opportunities the recuperation of electric power as a result of transition the electric drive to the braking mode, and also various ways of preservation of this energy is considered. The research complex allowing to study the efficiency of recuperation is considered. Special attention in article is paid to advantages of recuperation in multi-engine electric drives.
