The origins of the legal profession in Russia

Bstract: This article discusses the history of the birth of the bar in Russia. We study the factors that have become the direct rudiments of the birth of the Institute of advocacy-representation in Russia. The reforms are considered, during which the norms regulating the work of attorneys and in General, the activities of the Institute of advocacy were introduced. The principles on which the Institute of advocacy was built in the 19th century are determined.
