The history of the Soviet Far East of 1920's - mid-1940's in the American historiography and memoirs

The article focuses on the main directions of American historiography and memoir literature in the study of the history of the Soviet Far East in the 1920s and the mid-1940s. The author analyzes the issues from the history of the Soviet Far East of this period that attracted the main attention of the American journalists and researchers. It is concluded that among the priority themes there has always been cross-border cooperation of the Far Eastern regions of the USSR with Pacific Rim countries.
