Бесплатный доступ

Purpose: to perform the in vitro study of the specific pharmacological activity of a peptide inhibitor of Ras-GTPase. Materials and methods: the cytotoxic effect, level of apoptosis, proliferative activity of peptide inhibitor of the Ras-GTPase were estimated for the human cell lines of lung cancer (A549, H460 and H1299) with the methods of flow-cytometry, MTT assay and the "real-time" on cell line proliferation analysis (iCELLIgence, ACEA Biosciences). Results: the results showed that the analyzed sequence possesses the high anti-tumor properties; it is able to induce apoptosis and to inhibit the processes of proliferation in human cell cultures of lung cancer. Conclusion: on the basis of conducted studies, it was shown that the investigated peptide sequence (inhibitor of Ras-GTPase) has the pronounced cytotoxic and antiproliferative properties against cultures of cells of human lung cancer.
