Usage of stochastic growth models of sporadic corrosive defects at reliability assessment of pipeline systems

The article offers a method to find the predictive estimates of corrosive defects parameters on the base of actual data of intratubal defectoscopy. The estimates of probability density functions of corrosion penetration which is the function of random variables of initial corrosion penetration, parameters of corrosion rate equation and time of pipeline maintenance are obtained. Their usage in the algorithm of defective pipeline sections reliability assessment.
