The use of modern surgical technologies in the treatment of elderly cataracts and modern concomitant treatment of elderly cataracts

The possibilities of new surgical technologies in the treatment of senile cataracts are presented. The analysis of the world literature and clinical practice show that the introduction of a femtosecond laser into cataract surgery makes it possible to remove senile cataracts at a qualitatively new level. Practical recommendations are given for the timely referral of elderly and senile patients for the surgical treatment of cataracts.
