Application of the landscape method to the study of natural fire risk in the Jewish autonomous region territory

It is investigated natural fire risks in natural-territorial complexes (NTC) of the Jewish autonomous region, on basis of the assessment of vegetation pyrological characteristics, soil water-retaining, declivity of the ground, river system density, longstanding temperature and precipitation indices. Based on this assessment scale, it is made the JAR natural-territorial complexes fire-risk ranking, and developed the map «Fire risk of the JAR natural-territorial complexes».
