Investment policy of an insurance company

In modern conditions the key to effective investment is the properly built investment policy. Owing to this policy insurance organizations have an opportunity to multiply their own funds. But the possibility of insurance organizations investing directly depends on the volume of not only own funds but also insurance reserves. Investment and insurance activities are closely intertwined. However, there are a number of objective obstacles that hinder the development of insurance organizations' investment activities. As a consequence, there is a need to develop a set of measures to improve the investment policy of insurance organizations and the definition of its prospective directions.
