For the first time the fatal beauties bearing in the world of dream of own domination, hatred and contempt for a male are considered in the Leonid Leonov's prose. Their beauty serves as devil temptation and test to heroes, and the motive of suffering almost disappears eventually. The intertextual context of the Leonov's images, including elements of classical tradition (Dostoevsky), modernist reflexion and a folklore dominant, testify about special character Leonov's personalism.
