Household production constructions of the Middle Don population from the scythian period

The Middle Don settlements dating to the scythian period have yieldedquite a large number of constructions that do not look like dwellings. This paper dealswith the analysis of these items. It provides the description, offers the classification andattempts to interpret these constructions. In the course the analysis it became clear thatmost constructions of this type are related to agriculture, first of all, crop growing. Anothergroup of constructions was used in metalworking. There is also a small group composedof some support structures, but as no diagnostics items were found in them, it was notpossible to identify what household activity they were related to.
