Character of suicidal behavior in men on remand

Comparative examination of 100 men on remand with suicidal behavior, aged 14-65 years. The comparison group included 100 men of the same age with suicidal behavior against whom criminal proceedings were not instituted. It has been revealed that in prison system parasuicidal acts are observed more frequently than in general population. This fact was due to presence of increased stressors, during forensic investigation situation and attempts in some way to facilitate one's stay on remand.
