Year 2019 becomes the Theatre Year in Russia. Its main purpose is the forming the common cultural space of Russia, the development of the Russian theatre, filling it with new ideas and relevant content. For 27 years, Chekhov International Theatre Festival has served as an example of the successful solution of such purpose.
