Hipothysing the impact of industry cycles on the investment activity of russian enterprises

The article formulates and analyses the hypothesis of the industry cycles influence on the investment activity of Russian enterprises. The proposed hypothesis shows to be of interest for further research. However, the assumptions taken as its basis are not fully confirmed even by the pilot sample of public companies. Therefore, accepted assumptions require clarification regarding the industrial structure of the Russian economy and the character of investment processes.
