Generation of inhomogeneously polarized laser beams of high order by means of diffractive optical elements

Бесплатный доступ

Updating of developed before an optical system for generation of the inhomogeneously polarized laser radiation, based on application diffractive optical elements (DOEs) with carrier frequency, is considered. Reduction of sizes and weights of optical system, decrease in losses of light energy, and also reduction of number arranged parameters and simplification of adjustment is reached due to exception of lenses in the optical scheme. Advantages of the previous version of system, namely universality and simplicity of reorganization for different types of polarization are completely kept. The executed experiments have shown improvement of beam formation quality. To produce high order cylindrical beams the low order mode on an output of the mode polarized adder is transformed by a phase DOE, operating in the zero order of diffraction and making radial phase changes.
