The article considers the discrepancy of specialist's functions practically realized in the procedure on the criminal case which are enumerated in the Article 58 Part I of the Criminal Code of the Russia Federation. The authors ground the necessity of inserting changes and additions into working legislation directed to the removal of legal contradiction.
