In the conditions of the dynamism of the external environment of business organizations, an important factor in their dynamic development is the constant improvement of the professional level of employees. The article presents an approach to the formation of a corporate system for assessing and training personnel. The personnel assessment subsystem assumes a business assessment of employees at the stage of admission to the company and in the process of their current activities and can be implemented in three ways: 1) based on the results of employees passing an independent qualification assessment (usually when hiring; 2) using the services of specialized recruitment agencies; 3) carried out by the company independently. Each of these methods is based on the use of assessment methods, which, according to their applicability, are classified into two groups: for assessing the competencies of employees and for assessing work results. Based on the results of the business assessment, competency models are built for each employee of the company, which make it possible to establish the compliance of employee assessments in the context of individual competencies with the requirements of the position established on the basis of the Professional Standard. These models determine the training needs, the composition and content of the elements of the personnel training subsystem, in particular, the forms, types and methods of training.
