Formation of readiness of students of professional educational organizations for research activity

The article discusses the problem of increasing the level of readiness of students of professional educational organizations for research activity. Based on the analysis of scientific literature, the readiness of students for research activity is considered by the authors as an integral personality characteristic, including motivational, cognitive and operational-behavioral components that ensure the successful functioning of students in new conditions. This readiness presupposes the presence of formed general competencies (OK 01, OK 02, OK 03), provided for by the federal state educational standard of secondary vocational education (FSES SVE). The article discusses the author's structural and functional model of students' readiness for research activity, according to which the indicator of the best readiness of students is the third level - initiative (high). The results of psychological and pedagogical assessment of the formation of general competencies of students, carried out within the framework of the regional innovation platform of the South Ural Power Engineering College are presented. The use of innovative educational technologies, according to the authors, provided the formation of a complex of personal qualities and competencies of students of the technical school, which are relevant to increase the level of readiness for research activities and, in general, preparation for professional activity.
