Formation of value orientations of students of higher education institutions of culture in the context of their professional training

The article actualizes the problem of the formation of value orientations of students, which corresponds to the content of universal competencies reflected in the Federal State Educational Standard 3++. The article actualizes the relationship between the values of the individual and his ability to make socially acceptable, moral choices in the modern world of uncertainty. The author identifies common features in the training of specialists of social and cultural profile of important from the point of view of their training, which causes special attention to the formation of value orientations of students of culture. The reasons for the negative consequences in the generalized picture of the value orientations of the individual in the light of the events of the recent history of the country are described. Based on the analysis of the materials of sociological research and the information content of the Internet space, a social and psychological profile of modern youth was created and some negative trends were identified. In the article the author shows that the formation of value orientations of students in higher education institutions of culture is a multi-faceted synthetic process, the effective orientation of which requires the construction of educational activity of the teacher on the basis of the principles of synergy, taking into account the changed social and psychological portrait of modern youth and focusing on its motivational-need, meaning-seeking spheres; the use of an interdisciplinary approach in the pedagogical activity of university teachers as a tool for the formation of normative and ethical reflection of students, allowing them to separate the moral norm from the deviation, allowing them to live in peace, to build non-toxic, productive communications. The necessity of reviving educational work at the university and finding appropriate forms of educational and extracurricular educational work in accordance with modern social content is justified.
