Children of preschool age with visual impairments differ in their inability to orient themselves and move around in space. This affects the infant's motor activity and development, in general, which leads to hypokinesia and secondary deviations. The problem of studying the features of spatial orientation of preschool children with visual impairments, as well as the development of the content of corrective-developing work on orientation in space in children with functional visual impairments, through physical culture is very relevant and socially significant. During the implementation of the research tasks, a validating experiment was organized in which the following methods were used: "Orientation in the space of preschool children with visual impairment" (L.B. Osipova) and "Practical orientation" (L.I. Plaksina). As a result, a series of correction-developing assignments with elements of physical culture was developed, implemented, taking into account the visual capabilities of each child and aimed at more successful development of orientation in a large space of children of senior preschool age with functional visual impairments.
