Philosophical questions of self-consciousness and factors of patriotic self-determination of youth: pedagogical aspect

The authors consider the problems of patriotic education of youth at the present stage of Russia's development. The article focuses on the necessity of working out a strategy of patriotic education in higher education and realization of systematic approach to the issue of patriotic self-determination of the younger generation, its self-realization and self-development within the framework of the Russian state. The article determines the principles of pedagogical strategies in the system of higher education, instilling in students not only competitive properties and qualities, but also moral and spiritual values. These strategies must develop the way for all-round development of the individual who wants to realize himself, first of on the territory of the Russian Federation.
