Factors of development of caravanning as a leading trend in the world tourism industry

Caravanning in Russia and abroad is analyzed. The factors contributing to the development of this type of tourism industry are considered. Statistical data are given for individual positions of the designated factors both in our country and in individual European countries. A comparative characteristic of the caravanning potential in Russia and European countries is given. The conclusion is drawn about the possibilities for the development of domestic tourism in Russia related to the movement of vehicles, in particular, the development of the domestic camping industry.
