Dipterans in grass cover of stony steppes of Samarskaya Luka

The taxonomic composition of the population of stony steppes grass cover, where the dipterans is a dominating group (48,2%), is cited. The seasonal dynamics of the complex of the invertebrates of grass cover is characterized by two peaks of number (end of June - end of July), Diptera have a dominant role in the forming of the second one. They include 66,8% of Nematocera and 33,2% Brachycera. Among Brachycera families Chloropidae, Agromyzidae and Anthomyiidae are background species. They are represented by phytophages, closely connected with plant associations.
