The paper describes the history of the manor Yazykovo (Bogorodskoye) since the 18 th to the 20 th centuries. It is located in a picturesque surroundings within the Borsky district of the Samara region. In the XIX century the manor was owned and inhabited by the descendants of the great Russian writer S.T. Aksakov: his son G.S. Aksakov and granddaughter O.G. Aksakova. The archive and library of the writer were kept in this manor until 1921. Yazykovo was considered to be not only profitable manor, but also the centre of culture of the Buzulukskiy county of the Samara province.
