Long-wave dynamics and its influence on the quality of water in the reservoir daily regulation

Specific features of the daily regulated channel-type reservoirs water quality formation have been discussed. Outcomes of the field observation on time (daily) and spatial dynamics of the Saratov reservoir hydrologic and hydro/ chemical characteristics have been given. Assessment of water quality variation in the hydro power station discharge influenced zone based on the obtained results has been made.
