Remote monitoring of vegetation on the plot of natural steppe in the Orenburg region

The results of the analysis of dynamics of natural vegetation on the plot of virgin steppe in the Orenburg region offers. As the source data used satellite images of medium spatial resolution (30 m). For the period from 1989 to 2007, in projective cover of key areas noted a 3-fold decrease in the part of class "dense vegetation" and significant increase of the part of class «uncovered soil».
