General Wallenstein received many of his contemporaries' attention, and of course in Spain through chronicles, pamphlets, biographies etc. This paper analyzes the texts that historians and chroniclers of the seventeenth century devoted to Wallenstein's personality, his betrayal, his assassination and his impact on the Spanish foreign policy in Germany and Europe.
