The dynamics of social and juridical status of Chuvash women in peasant society in the end of XIX - beginning of XX century

The article is concerned with the question of Chuvash women's social and juridical status in peasant society in the end of XIX - beginning of XX century. The author traces the evolution of this status and analyzes its discernible dependency from the family status of Chuvash woman.
