The high resolution diode laser spectroscopy method was used to measure small signal gain, temperature and absolute velocity of the supersonic active medium of the oxygen-iodine laser generated by the ejector nozzle bank. Higher temperature of the base hydrogen peroxide solution (BHP) in the singlet oxygen generator results in decrease of the gain, increase of singlet oxygen losses, increase of heat release and growth of active medium temperature. Simultaneously the absolute flow velocity changes weakly and flow Mach number decreases. Inversion population and iodine efficiency drop down with increase of the water vapor fraction. The value of gain decrease additionally as a result of the growth of Doppler width of the gain spectral line. Nevertheless the main reason of O (1D) losses and heating of the active medium is 2 due to the quenching of the exited iodine atom by molecular iodine rather than water vapor. The gain 7?10-3сm-1 and O (1D) losses 0,2 have been achieved for the BHP temperature in SOG -20?С. The gain 2 decreases up to 5?10-3сm-1 and O (1D) losses increases up to 0,22 for the BHP temperature -4?С. The laser 2 extractable energy slowly depends on the BHP temperature. But the decrease of the gain with increase of the solution temperature can result in decrease of the chemical efficiency of the laser.
