The play «Crave» (1998) is Sarah Kane‘s penultimate work. In this play the playwright touches all of the themes, which were peculiar to her earlier dramas: violence, mental illnesses, love, death. The principal difference between the play «Crave» and other works of this playwright is that «Crave» is a sample of the postdramatic theater. In this article the author identifies the features of child‘s image in the postdramatic play «Crave».
