Depressive disorders in long-term residents in the radioactively polluted territories are combined with signs of early aging, with the severity of cognitive decline being mainly due to degree and nature of radiation exposure and distorted factors. Two subgroups have been considered (207 and 153 patients). It was noted that the level of cognitive impairment was more pronounced in patients undergoing radiation exposure in utero, and the severity of depressive disorders was observed in the first subgroup.
