Digital ruble: features of the Russian model of creation and operation of the national digital currency

The article examines the preconditions in Russia to introduce the digital ruble as the national digital currency CBDC. The fundamental differences between the digital currency and the national digital currency, the digital ruble and the classical cryptocurrency have been revealed. The most important vision of the mega-regulator is established aspects of the introduction and functioning of the digital ruble. The deterrent aspects of the recognition of cryptocurrency as the CBDC have been defined.
