Value characteristics of the «English butler» lingvo-cultural concept: the concept evaluation in the modern British mentality

This article is devoted to the lingvo-cultural concept of «English butler», its value characteristics based on the interpretative analysis of precedent texts. Value characteristics are looked into as correlated with the basic values of the Great Britain culture. The article is focused on the key concepts of the butler's discourse as «gentleman». The author also analyses the evaluation of the concept in the modern British mentality via sociological poll delivery and defines evaluative lexemes appealing to the concept under research.
