Buddist religious architecture of Parhae (Bohai) located in northern part of Korean peninsula

This article represents a two Buddhist temple complex in Omae-ri and Kaesimsa. These sites were founded in Northern part of Korean Peninsula. It was a territory under Southern Capital of Parhae (Bohai). We observed the construction of each sites and artifacts which showed advanced religious culture and a high level of craft. Perhaps, there were different types of Buddhist architectures depended on significance and location. Parhae's religious architecture had some different between Koguryo ones. Several Buddhist sites might show that the Southern Capital was located a significant distance from the country's center.
