Struggle against horse stealing in the Yenisei province: historical and legal aspects (on the materials of the local governments of Minusinsk indigenous people)

The article examines horse stealing and ways of resolution over it among Minusinsk indigenous people of the Yenisei province. In this regard, special attention is paid to the activities of the local governments of Minusink indigenous people of the Yenisei province, which were working on preventing and restraint of this crime on the base of the customary law. By this law the cases on stealing of livestock, as well as horses, are in charge of the local governments of indigenous people.
