Biological characteristic of Abramis brama bream in Sviyazhskiy gulf of Kuibyshev water reservoir

Effectiveness of reproduction, dimensional and age structure of catches and body height of bream in Sviyazhskiy gulf of Kuibyshev water reservoir for 1956-2007 is considered. It is established that dynamics of larvae number, this year's broods and age structure of catches, and also an index of bream number fluctuation testify as a whole to the relative stability of recruitment of its stocks in the conditions of hydrological regime high variability. Body height of the bream changed according to the periods of water reservoir ecosystem evolution, including food supply.
