Army as the main factor of social life destabilization and Russian nation-building destruction in 1917

Using archival sources, memoirs, and letters of the early 20thcentury the author considers the changes in the consciousness of rear garrisonsoldiers during World War I. Anti war and anti governmental thoughts, severe living conditions, strict barrack regime caused the growth of anti military mood among the solders and degradation in the Russian army.
