Archaeological exploration in the Ob river valley in 2016

In 2016 research of the valley Ob River, the islands and the coast of the Novosibirsk Reservoir was continued. Below the dam was investigated memorable place Yurt-Ora, submissions on the archeology of the Novosibirsk Ob individual periods from the Bronze Age to the ethnographic present. The boundaries were clarified, was given attribution, planigraphic and stratigraphic features of the 122 objects in the Barsova Mountain, dating from the Neolithic to the Late Middle Ages. In the Lower Ob studies have focused on the Belogorsk upland. We found evidence of spread of Late Pleistocene fauna and human activity, presumably the Upper Paleolithic. Exploration demonstrated the effectiveness of large-scale perspective and intelligence in the Ob valley known as objects, and archaeologists unfamiliar territories.
