The article analyzes the state of the sanatorium and health resort business in Tula region, studies the main facilities, identifies their strengths and weaknesses. More attention is paid to the activities of the sanatorium "Likhvinskie Vody". Content analysis of consumers and evaluation of the popularity of the sanatorium "Likhvinskie Vody" are accomplished. To assess the demand and identify the category of consumers of the company's services, the authors analyze the target audience and identify shortcomings in the sanatorium's. First of all, they concern the quality and range of additional services provided. Competitors give animation programs a lot of attention, many even have an animation team in the staff. Analysis of animation activities in the sanatorium "Likhvinskie Vody" shows that there is no permanent animation, but employees can work with children in the equipped children's rooms and on the children's playground, on the street. The data of the sociological survey has revealed the need to introduce an animation program for holidaymakers. The article suggests measures to improve the animation activity of the sanatorium. It is proposed to introduce an animation program for children, which will consist of thematic modules, and is designed for seven days. This way of organizing interactive programs will be quite effective for the sanatorium, the modules can be modified, which makes it possible to choose one or other animation activities depending on the number of people, time and weather. The implemented measures will increase the competitiveness of the enterprise, expand the segment of consumers.
