The article identifies and analyses the main trends in transformation of theconsumption function of Russian households influenced by technological factor.It makes conclusions about significant intensification of the consumption functionof the Russian households due to distribution of achievements of engineering andtechnology. The paper gives negative aspects reducing the intensification of theconsumption function.
