The article analyzes the state and structure of the use of the enterprise’s production potential and reflects ways to improve accounting methods to increase the efficiency of the resources used and solve problems of managing the enterprise’s production potential. The relevance of this work is provided by the importance and urgency of the topic under study. Since obtaining future economic benefits is the main goal of any entrepreneur, therefore, the need for analysis and assessment of the resource potential is appropriate regardless of global or local changes in the economy.
