Bulbs morphometric parameters analysis of blue color hyacinth varieties

The studying results of the bulbs parameters of 4 hyacinth varieties with blue colour in 2021 at the Botanical Garden-Institute of the Volga State University of Technology (the Mari El Republic) are presented. Varieties with simple flowers 'Blue Jacket' and 'Rembrandt' had the largest size and weight of bulbs, the variety with terry flowers 'Royal Navy' - the smallest ones. The bulbs weight correlated more with their height than with their diameter. The coefficient of natural vegetative reproduction negatively correlated with the weight and size of the bulbs. The varieties 'Royal Navy' and 'Blue Jacket' had the highest value of the indicator, 'Rembrandt' - the lowest one. The obtained data can be used in the practice of growing and propagating hyacinths in the conditions of the region.
