Analysis of the potato tuber movement along the separating surface

Currently, there is the problem of creating a potato machines with maximum separation capacity and with minimal damage to the tubers. The article presents a diagram of the effect of forces on the tuber, located on the rotating outer edge of the rotor pin with arbitrary overlay relative to the selected coordinate system. Equations of the tuber motion along the separating surface are considered. The motion trajectory of the tuber at an angular speed of 7 s-1, which corresponds to the rotational speed of the separator shafts - 67 rpm. can be considered as optimal. Taking into account the geometric parameters of the rotor and tubers the amount of overlap of the fingers can be taken equal to 25 mm.
