The article deals with the events of the American intervention in the Far East during the Russian Civil War (1918-1920) and the possibility of the recognition of Kolchak's government as the official government of Russia. The author analyses the U.S. policy towards the White Movement in the Far East as well as reasons behind the eventual decision on non-recognition.
