Actual problems of assessing the financial stability of an insurance company

This article reveals the concept of "financial stability of an insurance organization" from the position of some domestic authors. The main features defining it are also highlighted. The methods of assessing the financial stability of an insurance company used in Russian practice are presented and the indicators with which this assessment will be carried out more efficiently are listed, which will allow detecting weaknesses of the insurer's activities at earlier stages. The problems of assessing the financial stability of the insurer are identified and ways to solve them are proposed.
